Apple Reports Strong Q1 With Sales Nearing $16bn (Computer Business Online via Yahoo! UK & Ireland News)

Apple has reported a 48% increase in net income to $3.4bn for the first quarter 2010, compared to a net income of $2.3bn in the same quarter last year. Revenue increased 32% to $15.7bn.
